Periodontal Treatment Needs of Women Across Different Trimesters of Pregnancy

Objective: To find the difference in periodontal treatment needs of females across different trimesters pregnancy. Methodology: A cross sectional comparative study was conducted among 44 pregnant visiting gynecology department Sharif Medical and Dental College Raiwind Polyclinic, Lahore (community outreach program institute). Data collected using Community Periodontal Index Treatment Needs (CPITN) Results: The highest percentage (24%) requiring no (TN0) were their third trimester. majority second trimester (85.7%) required oral hygiene instructions had (TN1) those first (83.3%) Scaling prophylaxis Oral (TN 2).
